The family secret of our wine
„Wine is life, our life is wine". This sentence reflects our families’ tradition and tightly connects its generations. With the devotion to viticulture and the common aim of quality improvement, we are expending the knowledge and understanding of our vineyards and wines. This knowledge is passed on from father to son and make up the well protected secret that makes our wine so special.
Two generations for the 21th century
- The Family Skoff
Walter and Joachim Skoff are already the fourth and fifth generation of the family to grow wine on the slopes of Southern Styria. The family duo is the perfect combination: Walter’s 31 years of wine experience and Joachim’s fresh ideas, gathered during his work in New Zealand, Chile and South Africa, but also through his numerous wine trips and foreign studies. Father and son have the same goal: to express the taste of the Styrian terroir in each of their wines.
