Oberkranachberg is a famous vineyard with sandy crushed rock terroir. The grapes are hand-picked very late in the harvest season in order to achieve optimum ripened fruit. Fermentation took place in 3,000 litre traditional French oak barrels as well as the following maturation. The result is a full bodied elegant and supple power wine with complexity and nutty flavours. This multiple awarded wine is best to drink between: 2020 – 2032
COLOUR
light golden yellow
NOSE
Fine notes of wood, yellow tropical fruit, delicate hints of peppers and guavas, underlaid with subtle herbal spices.
TASTE
Full-bodied, strong body, juicy, elegant, nuances of peach, subtle fruity sweetness, fine acidity, minerals adhere well and a lemony touch in the aftertaste.
