SKOFF ORIGINAL Zweigelt Reserve ages for 24 months in a barrique, which provides it with an absolutely velvety, full tannin aroma of ripe plum, bilberries and a touch of cassis and dark chocolate. A sheer pleasure on a relaxed winter evening.
COLOUR

NOSE
Intensive and multilayered bouquet of dark red cherries, ripe plum, blackberries, bilberries, dark chocolate, nougat, vanilla bean, caramel with a touch of cassis, toasted almond and hazelnut
TASTE
Fully ripe plum cherry, bilberries and blackberries, dark chocolate and cassis with noticeable toasted flavours. Rich, ripe, velvety and well-balanced tannins. Very long tannin and fruity aftertaste.
RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS
SKOFF ORIGINAL Zweigelt Reserve can be served with strong cheese, red and dark meat, wild game, roasted veal liver, boiled beef and Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with onions).
