1) The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all business relations between Walter Skoff Wein GmbH and the Customer.
2) Walter Skoff Wein GmbH concludes contracts on its own terms. Other Customer terms and conditions apply only if Walter Skoff Wein GmbH explicitly agrees to them in writing.
3) With the exception of the UN Convention (CISG), Austrian law applies to the contractual relationships between the parties to the contract.
4) The district court of Leibnitz is solely responsible for any disputes that arise directly or indirectly from this contract.
5) The Customer does not have the right toset off any counterclaims of any type and is not entitled to any compensation by Walter Skoff Wein GmbH for such counterclaims.
6) In the event of a default in payment, 12% interest for delay p.a. is owed.
Prices
All prices include the statutory value-added tax.
Our offer is subject to change and non-binding.
Delivery and delivery times
Austria
Your order is processed on work days during normal office hours so that your shipment arrives within the shortest amount of time. To ensure this is possible, we must receive your order by 11 AM at least 5 work days before the desired delivery date. In our experience, you may already be able to enjoy fine wines after 2 to 3 business days.
Outside Austria
For deliveries abroad, please enquire at office@skofforiginal.com
Replacements and partial shipments
We reserve the right to send a partial shipment. Unless the Customer has expressly requested otherwise, we follow the industry standard and replace any out of stock product with a product from the following year if the price and type is of equivalent value.
Shortage/incorrect shipment
Please inform us promptly within 3 days at the latest of any complaints regarding the amount and/or type of a product by providing the order number. We will deal with your concern immediately. Please send complaints in writing to:office@skofforiginal.com
Shipping cost, minimum order value and minimum order quantity
All wines are packed in cartons of 6, 12 or 18 depending on the total amount of the order. Minimum order quantity: 6 bottles. No shipping is charged on orders EUR 200 and over within Austria. Shipping to Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and other EU member states is free for purchases EUR 300 and over.
Payment
We appreciate your understanding that we only accept credit cards, PayPal or payment in advance by bank transfer.
Credit cards
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Diners Club. We use secure technology. Our SSL security server is one of the best software available for secure online commerce. This software encrypts all your personal data such as credit card number, bank number, bank account, name and address.
Encryption is indicated by the locked padlock in your browser (left image). This information cannot be read by unauthorized parties while it is being transferred on the internet. During encryption, the characters you enter are converted into a code that can be safely transferred on the internet.
Payment in advance by bank transfer
For orders that are paid for in advance by a bank transfer, we ship the articles upon receipt of the desired amount. All personal information is used only for that particular order.
Other
Orders may be placed only by people over the age of 18. Crystallization of tartar occurs naturally and is not a grounds for complaint. These GTC and all changes are permanently available online at skofforiginal.com. The Customer is explicitly requested to inspect, save and print out these General Terms and Conditions. It is agreed that any announcement of changes on this website constitutes sufficient notice.
Any customs duties must be paid by the Customer.
All prices and content are subject to change. The place of jurisdiction is Leibnitz (Austria).
The amount due is to be paid promptly upon receipt of the invoice without any delay unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. The products remain our property until payment is complete.
Right of cancellation
As long as the Customer is a natural person residing in Austria who concludes a contract for reasons other than commerce or self-employment(hereafter the “Consumer”), the Consumer has the right to cancel his or her declaration of intent to conclude a contract. No reason must be provided for cancellation, which must be provided in writing on a permanent data medium or by returning the goods within two weeks. If goods have been shipped, the cancellation period starts on the day that the recipient receives them. The timely forwarding of a cancellation is sufficient for complying with the time limit; the cancellation should be directed to the following address:

If goods have been shipped, the right of cancellation expires 7 days after the recipient receives them at the latest. In the event the cancellation is valid, the Consumer is obligated to return the goods. Goods are to be returned to the address provided above. We assume the risk for returns; for goods valued EUR 300 net and more, we pay the shipping cost! For goods valued at EUR 200 net or more, we pay half of the actual shipping cost. The value of an item is to be remunerated for the surrender of its use or the use of an item and other services up to the time of cancellation; loss-of-valueresulting from the designated use of an item or use of such a service will not be considered.
